Oversee and manage all operational, financial and administrative
functions for a National Portfolio Account based in Hartford
Connecticut. Set and actively achieve challenging goals, measure results
and improve outcomes. Individual's performance will be evaluated based
on, but not limited to, achieving financial goals and objectives and on
providing quality customer service.
Essential Functions:
- Demonstrate a management style that encourages participation and
ownership by all, along with a continuous focus on action, customer
satisfaction, employee satisfaction and financial management.
- Client primary point of contact for all client / AlliedBarton
communication and requests.
- Establish, measure, and report monthly Key Performance Indicators
throughout portfolio.
- Audit and inspect contract deliverables throughout portfolio.
- Advise and support account managers on client contractual
requirements in a variety of locations.
- Support Emergency needs of client Nationwide
- Maintain confidentiality of all information and data.
- Travel to assigned district offices.
- Actively participate in community and business related organizations.
- Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned or
required.
Qualifications:
- Seven years or more of OPERATIONAL business management experience
including a minimum of five years contract or proprietary security
management experience required.
- Internal Candidate strongly preferred.
- BA/BS degree in business or a related field.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including highly
effective written and oral delivery.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Lotus Notes, etc.
- Must be Winteam competent for generating KPI reports.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with top level client
executives.
- The ability to work with, influence and manage a team oriented
environment in a variety of locations and to help identify and solve
problems.
- Knowledge and experience with the use of quality and/or continuous
improvement tools, techniques, practices, etc.
- Use own initiative to achieve exponential improvement and competitive
advantage.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with
associates, supervisors and the general public.
- Ability to deal with internal and external customers and to ensure
compliance with fair employment
- Reliable, appropriate transportation to do field work and the
flexibility to travel domestically up to 25%.
- The National Portfolio Manager shall provide oversight of security
management and supervision; ensuring the delivery of high quality, cost
effective security services.
- The National Portfolio Manager shall meet with each site management
and/or supervisor on a weekly basis, rotating meetings around the
different shifts.
- Function as client's 'single point of contact', managing all aspects of
the provision of the Services; serve as primary contact with client
Designee for the Services.
- Responsible for each site-specific protocol ensuring security standards
are achieved.
- Maintain a positive working relationship with local law enforcement and
emergency services agencies for each Site to ensure optimal security and
operations effectiveness.
- Interview and assist in hiring personnel for site management and
supervisor assignments.
- Responsible for the accuracy of billings and processing of payroll for
each Site.
- Responsible for attending meetings on behalf of Corporate Security and
providing weekly briefs, as well as monthly and quarterly reports to
client Designee. Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR) will be presented
formally to client Designee and Corporate Security Management and will
require, at a minimum, reporting on quarterly goals and new initiatives
for the next quarter as well as the overall statistics for the quarter.
- Provide recommendations for increasing efficiency of processes and
procedures.
- Drawing on the resources of your firm and innovations or innovative
approaches tested in the industry, investigate and propose strategies
for reducing costs, enhancing the effectiveness of the security program
at client facility.
- Develop cost/benefit analysis comparing the use of guard services to
the use of technology or other modes of providing defined services.
- Respond to requests from client for information and analysis, and to
problems and concerns when requested with a sense of urgency.
- Be proactive with information and account analysis in monthly and
quarterly review meetings with client.
- Develop and implement emergency response procedures and communication
protocols for responding to security related emergencies affecting
client's business operations for each Site. Be available to work with
the client Designee to resolve said emergency.
- Resolve all problems and issues raised that relate to the Services.
Coordinate with client Designee to resolve any issues relating to the
Services.
