Senior Relationship Manager-Annuities Investment Management | Prudential Financial | Shelton, CT

This position reports to the head of Strategic Account Management for
the Prudential Annuities Division. This position works closely
with the heads of our Money Management partners on the Prudential
Annuities Investment Platform to maximize our asset manager's resources,
strengthen our partnerships and drive both annuity and investment
platform sales.
- Provide support and coverage of the 36 Money Managers on
Prudential Platform
- Create annual business and marketing plans for specific Money
Manager Partners
- Negotiate, manage and report top down and field Money Manager
financial support
- Create plan to leverage Money Manager wholesalers both in the
field and at the home office level across all channels
- Communicate Money Manager updates and changes to key Prudential
stakeholders
- Develop materials to educate the sales organization on 'how to
partner with the Money Managers'
- Develop joint marketing materials with the Money Managers to
support our sales force
- Organize and manage participation at large scale meetings such
as the National Sales Meeting and Due Diligence meetings
- Create a portal for the sales force that will communicate and
maintain the resources available by the Money Managers: Marketing
materials, CE classes, practice mgmt workshops, presentations, speakers,
economists, meeting space etc.
- Develop and coordinate joint calendar of events for each Asset
Manager.
- Prepare, schedule and document Quarterly Business Reviews with
Investment Management Firms
- Develop and publish Activity Reports/Sales Call Reports
- Develop sales reporting for the Money Managers to help support
their wholesaler compensation process
- Leverage the Sales reports to identify Money Managers to
leverage and support
- Partner with Marketing & Investment Management on developing
a strong Investment Platform story
- Work with MRU to get marketing in use by the Money
Managers approved for use by the sales force
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently Ability to collaborate
- Strong sales skills
- Strong Negotiation Skills
- Excellent understanding of Annuity business
- Working knowledge of the Money Manager Platform and Space
- Current NASD Series 7 & 63 licenses required
